Sanjana Nair is a language educator and researcher who serves as the ESOL teacher at the Refugee Dream Center. Hoping to create a renewed sense of community and identity, she emphasizes the capacity of literature and literacy in her teaching methodology, to empower her culturally diverse students. She holds a Master of Science in Education (MSEd.) in Literacy Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Foreign Languages and Intercultural Studies from Manipal University. In her spare time, she enjoys writing fiction, baking and going on an outdoor adventure!
