Olinda Bandeira

Health & Safety Caseworker

Olinda Bandeira, originally from Mozambique, holds a bachelor in Accounting and Auditing, Master in Project Management with a professional background spanning data analytics, project management, and risk and compliance in the banking and insurance sectors. She brings over a decade of experience working in regulated environments, supporting internal controls, operational risk frameworks, and data-informed decision-making.

This background motivated her transition from financial services into public-interest and nonprofit work, and currently pursuing Master in Science in Urban Informatics at Northeastern University where she focuses on applying structured systems, evaluation methods, and operational rigor to strengthen community-centered programs.

At Refugee Dream Center, Olinda works as a Health & Safety Casework co-op supporting program operations, data collection, grant reporting, and evaluation efforts that contribute to refugee health, safety, and long-term self-sufficiency. She is particularly interested in transferring knowledge, technology, and best practices across sectors and regions to support equitable and sustainable community outcomes. Outside of work, Olinda enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching documentaries, reading personalĀ development books and exploring new places through travel and adventures.
