Douglas Zibugu is a Ugandan native who serves as a Programs Assistant with extensive experience supporting development and humanitarian programs. With a strong background in quantitative economics, public health research, and results-based project management, he has contributed to the impactful initiatives in energy, climate, livelihoods, education, health, and refugee response programs.
Douglas holds a master of science in quantitative economics and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health at Maastricht University. He has led strategy developments, program designs, data quality assurance efforts, digitized monitoring systems, developed reporting frameworks, and strengthened community accountability structures across multiple organizations. His work blends technical expertise with a deep commitment to evidence-driven decision-making and program improvement.
In his free time, Douglas enjoys research writing, community engagement, and exploring new tools that advance learning and innovation within the development sector.
