Cynthia, a Cranston native, came to the US from Guatemala with her parents when she was just a year old. She holds a B.A. in English and Journalism from the University of Rhode Island and has always had a love for words and storytelling. As an administrative assistant at Refugee Dream Center, she works closely with Executive Director Teddi Jallow to help keep operations running smoothly. Outside of work, Cynthia keeps busy with freelance writing and performing with her band.
