Case Management Programs

Women’s Intercultural Project

This program consists of a group of Afghani and American women who engage in activities that alleviate social isolation, reduce domestic violence, and increase access to ESL, health education, and other services. For more information on how you can join please email.

Breaking Barriers

This program consists of a group of 8 highly motivated members of the refugee community, four men and four women, chosen to represent the four refugee ethnic communities. This is a culturally attuned intervention project focused on the facilitation and capacity building of the refugees’ ability to overcome the challenges associated with their experiences of crime and harness their intrinsic skills to assist the case management team in providing services to refugees.

“The biggest help was when our apartment burned down, and the Refugee Dream Center was the only one to help us. They picked us up right away, secured housing through the church immediately, and collected money to pay the first two month’s rent and to get settled again… went with us to the gas company to help us with the bill, came with us to speak with the principal at our children’s school, and helped us to get a refund for airline tickets we bought and couldn’t use… Any way that the RDC can help us is great.”
