This former journalist and torture survivor fled The Gambia after being declared a wanted man over articles he wrote criticizing the country’s then-dictator. Inspired by his own experience, Bah founded the Refugee Dream Center in Providence to offer other refugees in Rhode Island post-resettlement support.
